Use for practising sumi-e ink painting.  There is no ink only water which you paint onto the surface.  Your brushstrokes then appear as black ink and stay there for a few minutes until the water dries.  As well as practising painting this can be used as a meditation tool.
 
Note:  It is a good idea to buy a set of brushes as there is only one small brush with this.  Working with a larger brush will give a better painting and meditative experience.
